About us

Our center, based in the city of Chisinau, is a team of gynecologists with rich professional experience, who apply the most modern methods of diagnosis and treatment, in accordance with international standards in the field. The center specializes in family planning, safe abortion and contraception.

TARA - Women's Health Center

Whatever your concern – preparation for pregnancy, childbirth, infertility problems, prevention of unwanted pregnancy, safe termination of pregnancy, problems caused by menopause, etc., at the TARA Center you will find gynecologists who will offer you support and advice that you need. You will be able to perform the necessary analyzes and ultrasound services to determine your health status.

The TARA center is one of the few medical centers with a gynecological profile in the country that is 100% adapted to the needs of girls/women with disabilities, their access to health services being fully ensured.

Also, the TARA Center offers counseling at distance, by phone or via the Internet, when its beneficiaries cannot come to the centre (they live outside Chisinau, are abroad, etc.).

The TARA Center is the medical unit of the Reproductive Health Training Center (CIDSR), which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and promote sexual and reproductive health and rights. CIDSR also conducts, upon request, training in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights for professional groups and the community, through specialist projects, clinical studies and situational analyzes that have taken place. We are convinced that every person, regardless of where they live, sex, age, ethnicity, the presence of a physical or other disorder, has the same sexual and reproductive rights and can have good sexual and reproductive health and access to good quality services.

CIDSR is among the main promoters of women's right to safe abortion, including medical abortion offered via telemedicine, both in the context of the Republic of Moldova and in the region.

RHTC - Reproductive Health Training Center

The Reproductive Health Training Center of the Republic of Moldova (RHTC) is a non-profit organization with a mission to protect and promote sexual and reproductive health and rights through specialized projects, clinical studies, and organized situational analyses.

We strongly believe that each person, no matter where he lives, no matter of the sex, age, ethnicity, presence of any physical or any other impairment, etc., has the same sexual and reproductive rights and should enjoy the complete state of sexual and reproductive health and access to quality services.
